Did you have to do anything before you applied for graduate school in the USA?
To go to graduate school in the USA you need to at least take the GRE. Some schools require a certain "grade", some don't. I started studying for the GRE in September and ended up taking it in November. And boy, did I cry when it was over. I didn't think I did well and I panicked. Turned out, I freaked out for nothing.
My suggestion: complete practice tests/studying on the computer. I studied pencil-to-paper but did my exam on a computer. It was an odd transition.
